This mural’s story: Look around and you will see many children playing in this neighbourhood. It’s no wonder that the neighbourhood wanted to dedicate at least one wall to Sluiswijk's youngest residents. That's what artist Hedof did. In this mural, you see two main characters playing in a playground, a boy and a girl. The boy is sliding down a slide, which in his imagination is the trunk of an elephant. The girl is playing on a seesaw. With the children's imagination, a seesaw becomes a rabbit, playing with a football. The baker's hat on the boy's head is a reference to the Sluis mascot on the old biscuit tins of the former biscuit factory, which caused a sensation here. He is also holding a biscuit and an old-fashioned rolling pin. In the background, you can see a factory. The chimney is steaming and a delicious smell swirls through the streets.
