David Bowie, born January 8th 1947, died on January 10th 2016, lived in Berlin from 1976 to 1979.

Honoured with a memorial plaque on Hauptstraße 155, also the street artist Marycula now payed homage to #DavidBowie with that beautiful stencil, showing Bowie as starman ("The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars".) 

"We can be heroes, just for one day" reminds to "Heroes", one of the three Berlin albums and contains a couple of unforgetable hymns to Berlin.
