In 2008, the "Willem Elsschot" society asked to imortalise one of the most famous characters of Willem Elsschot (thanx @ Jos  Bauer for pointing that out ;-)) on a mural.
Based on the cover of the graphic novel Dick Matena you can see "Laarmans" Willem Elsschot's alter ego  cross the "Grote Markt" of Antwerp with a bag full of cheese balls.
In the background you can clearly see the town hall and Brabo.
