<div>Since opening in 2006, Nelly Duff has become as much a part of East London as the rhyming slang it took its name from.</div>

<div>Nelly Duff is a contemporary commercial art gallery in Bethnal Green, London. It is based at the foot of Columbia Road market in the East End of London. It works with Ben Eine, The Toaster, and other artists. The gallery's name is taken from the Cockney rhyming slang for "life".<br>.<br>Nelly Duff in their own words:<br>"Nelly Duff has become as much a part of East London as the rhyming slang we take our name from. <p>Good vibes and colours only!! With this mural, a portrait of the talented saxophonist Nubya Garcia, Zabou is celebrating jazz music. Based on a stage photograph by Peter van Breukelen.&nbsp;</p><p>'It took me about 3 to 4 days despite the rainy weather to paint this large-scale mural on the side of U7 Lounge in Haggerston, London, UK. I wanted to create an artwork that is vibrant, colourful and celebrates jazz music (the venue host jazz events and there is a music school a few doors down). My model is Nubya Garcia, a talented saxophonist from London, and the image is based on a photo of her playing on stage taken by Peter Van Breukelen. The background features a mix of pinks (matching the windows of the building), oranges and purples. ' shares the artst on her webste.</p>
