'Støðufuglur' is the faroese word for a non-migratory bird. The islands have a massive bird population, however many of these birds are migratory birds ('Flytifuglar'), which means the spend their summer on the islands and go to the southern hemisphere for the winter. The faroese people often used this term ('Flytifuglur) for people that like to leave islands in the winter (flee the harsh cold ad darkness). The artwork is on the side of the campus building in the 'Frælsið' area.
