The water that floods Pompeii represents the lava that submerged it 2000 years ago with the eruption of 79 AD. The ruins visited by millions of tourists every year are a clear example of resilience, demonstrating that people's work, whether artistic or not, can withstand time and adversity. We human beings live a short passage in the physical world, but the achievements of civilization and creative expressions transcend time and teach us how to continually reinvent ourselves from a human, social and artistic point of view.
