The work promoted by the Illumbe Musical Association on its 50th anniversary is an allegory of music. In the work the music is represented by a beautiful woman who has a choir of red mullets around her head. In his hands an old steamer, from which a treble clef sprouts in the form of smoke, around his body musical notes make up the composition.
This work is located in an old industrial warehouse known as Casa Ciriza in Pasaia, a natural bay that has traditionally been dedicated to fishing. The Illumbe Musical Association together with the citizens of Pasaia have been claiming this emblematic building as a necessary cultural infrastructure for the municipality and this work represents another milestone in their claim.
Started out hunting the streets in Antwerp, and completely bitten by the 'street art' virus. And the only cure is: HUNT SOME MORE.
I love showing people all the amazing Belgian artists, run street art tours in my city and occasionally facilitate new mural projects.
I love to travel and meet other hunters and artists. So hit me up when you're in town.
