Rosentor

The graffiti is a collaborative work by Edwin Bormman and Monib Sadat. The portrait was originally a postcard motif. The rose blossoms were sprayed by Sero. They are symbolic of the Rose Gate, where the graffiti is located. There was a city gate and the historic city wall at this location in the Middle Ages. The peacock plays a central role in the history of Paderborn. According to legend, this animal flew ahead of the transport of the bones of the patron saint Liborius from Le Mans to Paderborn to lead the way.
