<div>&nbsp;The 100Taur fresco presents Oedipus in the guise of a boar armed with spears. It sits on one of the creature's tentacled tails which it rests on a rock. From his frontal eye reminiscent of that of a cyclops, Oedipus projects a halo of light towards the beast which, with its frowning eyebrows and its raised index finger, seems to state the famous riddle.</div><div>&nbsp;</div>

<div>Marika Gysbers, alias Mog, street artist from Pau who has already made a name for herself in the same district, by "paying for the wall" located at the corner of rue Mary Lafon and rue de la Comédie to paint Olympe de Gouges there, attacked, this time, to the cladding of the gable of a building on the corner of rue Fourchue and rue de l'Union Compagnonnique.</div><div><br>15 meters high, 8 wide... The monumental fresco was commissioned by the municipality of Montauban, which wanted to "brighten up and light up" the two small, freshly renovated streets. The brilliantly colored work is already well advanced, but not yet, entirely, finished : "Ingres took 36 years to complete his painting", jokes the Béarnaise artist who granted himself a "break" before finishing the job.</div><div><br>To create a fresco of this scale, she goes through a sketch, then a grid to adapt to the size of the facade. In La Source revisitée, Mog has taken up his favorite technique of the blindfold already slipped over the eyes of Olympe de Gouges. But the artist wishes above all to pay homage to the “graffiti of the 80s, to the hip-hop movement practiced in the housing estates by young immigrants. <div>It smells of paint and enthusiasm. On a wall of the hall, place Lalaque, a fresco representing four illustrious Montalbanaises takes shape. Brushes and bombs in hand, masks on the nose, the young people of the Municipal Youth Council (CMJ) follow with application the advice of the graffiti artist Alexis Diermer, better known under the name of Tiger.<br><br>In addition to bringing a new aesthetic to the hall of the Place Lalaque, the children chose to deliver a message by the creation of this fresco. They decide to honor four emblematic female figures of the City: "We would like every Montalbanese to know these characters. These women are examples for us. They prove that certain fields of activity are not only reserved for boys" explain Amélia and Luna, two young people from CMJ.<br><br>After several searches, the young people naturally chose Olympe de Gouges, pioneer of feminism, humanist and woman of letters but also Brigitte Deidier, world judo champion, Caroline Aigle, first French woman to become a fighter pilot and finally Janine Garrisson, historian and politician.<br><br>Accompanied by Tigre, they deliver their ideas and their desires. At the end of numerous exchanges, of several tests, they finally come to fruition. All the afternoon of May 8, they created the background for the fresco.
