Yes, Ghent has a leftbank. And it's nice neighbourhood. Some good but sometimes hidden bars and reastaurants, friendly people and ... great street art. And while your here, you can just continue to the student area that's very closeby. Ghent has +70.000 students that come to sudy, more than 30.000 live in the city for 9 months a year. A big influence in the way this city goes around.
