Gdansk School of Murals

Cocteau

This is an hommage to the famous French writer and artist Jean Cocteau, whose work was often influenced by surrealistic aspects.
The school in Gdansk is an artist collectif that is specialised in creating big murals. In Ghent 3 artists worked on this wall: Jacek Zdybel, Aleksandra Lech and Rafal Roskowinski. Their visit was a consequence from a visit by several Belgian students to Gdansk in March 2015.
Here, 2 local art students from the KASK school helped working on the mural: Tineke Bacqué and Ezra Veldhuis.
