Fortunately, his weapon is not dangerous, but conjures up impressive colors in inconspicuous places and puts a smile on people's faces. He's on the hunt for the perfect subject for the perfect location. Dalimot is Duisburg's most famous graffiti artist and every child knows some of his works. The 36-year-old has already created hundreds of works of art. He was allowed to immortalize himself on house facades, train stations, underpasses, waterworks and much more. He has also been on the road for Netze Duisburg GmbH for a number of years. When citizens call and ask for an electrical box or grid station to be artistically designed, the street becomes Dalimot's gallery. He has already implemented around 200 projects together with the Duisburg network operator.


"Even as a schoolboy I was fascinated by graffiti," recalls Dalimot. Drawing on paper became too boring for him and a youth center in Oberhausen offered him the chance to perfect his passion quite legally. Back then, in the early 2000s, Duisburg didn't have a big sprayer scene. At the time, nobody thought of legal areas where street artists could let off steam. “During my studies I wrote my thesis on graffiti art.
