Mexican fastfood with a Dutch touch

On December 21st 2017, wel-known American fast-food chain Taco Bell openend a new restaurant in Breda.Taco Bell invited designer Hedof (NL) to create a mural for the new premises. The mural is a playful mix in which Hedof combined the surrounding area with the Mexican taco.

Located nearby the restaurant lies the Valkenberg park. The name ‘valkenberg’ derives from the falconry that was practiced with great pleasure in the former garden by the Nassau’s and their guests. Besides the historical reference you’ll also see a modern lighthouse. This work of art is created by Aldo Rossy and has become a recognisable object for people on their way to the city center.
