 … or better it was THE Legal Wall in town
 … it was a place to visit
This has been Bergen’s legal wall since 2005. And here it is all legal. No codex – kings on toys – toys on kings – anyone can paint. But be aware it changes all the time. Sometimes so fast that the previous paint has not dried – has happened. Most stays for days, others for months, those high up for years. They have all painted here – locals, visitors and those just passing by with a magic marker. 
This is the place where huge jams are conducted, birthdays celebrated, new born babies greeted and love expresses. Then there are all the RIPs. 
It started out that only a certain part of the building was legal. As of now (Summer of 2023) since the building is to be renovated – no one cares and all sides are painted. But be aware – as of now (2023) we do not know what will become of this legal wall in Bergen. The building is being renovated and there is no word or dialogue between the municipality (which owns the building), those taking over (Carte Blanche) and the graffiti and street art environment of Bergen. So next time you want to paint, talk with the locals to get status – that would be make contact with Norge 1927 i.e. the store selling cans and stuff – they know. To those that loves watching – this is a must see place. If u wants to shoot pictures do not shoot faces. And it is always correct to ask if it is OK to take a picture. 
Pictures in this post is a quick pick from what can be seen at Sentralbadet. U never knows what u’ll see. Personally during the season (not rainy season) I pass just about every day to see if something new has been painted – and often it has.

As of Fall 2023 the legal wall is down. This due to renovation of the whole building. A new legal wall has been designated and should be operative beginning of 2024 (this not was written 23. December 2023).
