The intervention carried out on the facade of the school building stems from the desire to give the building a new image and at the same time convey a message by exploiting the social role of the place. The references to the lake and its waters are inevitable: characterizing element and real luck from a tourist point of view for the country, it provides a strongly evocative image full of meanings. The scene depicted sees a boy aboard a typical "naet" who, with a genuine and naive smile, reaches out to a fish peeping out of the water. The gesture is intended to represent the great open-mindedness that is expected of the new generations, who can bridge over diversity, differences, which can reverse and reinvent customs. Behind the young man, an elderly man who is also smiling represents the traditions, the past and his legacy, important for being able to face the future. The heron constitutes another reference to the lake and its fauna. Behind the small group, huge pages of a book replace the sails of a boat, indicating how knowledge and culture are decisive for finding their own direction, a way to go: the artists believed that the role of the school and education should appear within a decoration placed in that particular place.
