A Shared Glance

The Vertigo Graffiti crew from Bogota got invited by the Colombian embassy to paint an iconic mural at the public library entrance.
During 8 days 4 street artists from Colombia visited the district of Merksem (Antwerp) in order to execute an artistic mural. The artwork has more than 150 square meters of surface and represents the image of an old man and a little kid looking at a blue sky framed by a window. The objective of the message is to underline the urgency of the reinforcement of the conversation among separated generations.
The collective of Colombian artists (Vertigo Graffiti) was founded 10 years ago and they have painted several big murals in the most important cities of Colombia.
This project was supported by the embassy of Colombia in order to create different representations of the Colombian people abroad connected with a positive message: Colombian as creators.
The artistic names of the artists are cazdos, zas, ecks and yurika
Created in april 2018.
