Dafne y Apolo

Description

Mural made thanks to the Vicar City Council @vivevicar and the San Benito Neighborhood Association, for 'Walking between candles'.
"Dafne rejected the god Apollo. Apollo's passion and Daphne's resistance was due to the fact that Eros, irritated by Apollo's jokes, shot him with a golden arrow to make him fall in love with her, while Daphne was directed a lead to reject him.
Apollo pursued Daphne with all manner of pleas for love, all of which she rejects until she reaches the forest.  Here, just at the moment when she is about to catch up with her, she asks for help from her father, the river Ladon, and her mother, the goddess Gaea, who transformed her into a laurel."
