<div>This work represents one of the defenders of ancestral traditions such as the "bath of the goats" in Puerto de la Cruz. Matías Mata, better known by his stage name Sabotaje al Montaje, started painting in the street in 1990 and since 1998 he has been carrying out projects and participating in national and international events. In recent years, he has developed and experimented with large format murals. He is the artistic coordinator of Puerto Street Art.</div>

Ritual

<div><strong>Sabotaje Al Montaje</strong>, the artist who has lived all his life on the Canarian Sea is particularly sensitive to the environmental issues. On the wall, created in Lecce, he focused on the problem of water pollution. The monumental representation of a man watching his fish highlights the presence of plastic caps caught by the sea instead of fishes. Once again, sensitivity to the traditions, to the activity of fishing, and the link with the place, the sea, became artistic pathway to critically express the conflicting dynamics of nowadays.&nbsp;</div>

<div>To raise awareness on people with disabilities both artists were invited to paint this huge mural.<br>Through several workshops, since September last year, in which disability has been addressed in all areas and in which both adults and children have participated came different proposals. Among them the creation of a mural that reflects the problem of the person with disabilities and, even, of the neighborhood in which they reside.<br>Marta Hernandez, a local, was the muse.<br>Notice the little antennas in the painting, they refer to another struggle of locals fighting the Mobile Phone industry polluting the area with their metal scrap.</div>
