This mural is located in the Cañada Honda neighborhood of Gáldar, Gran Canaria. It was created in 2019 as part of a major urban art project aimed at transforming the city into an open-air gallery.The artwork depicts a local man in traditional attire, serving as a tribute to the hardworking people and the rural history of the area. It is one of 25 large-scale murals designed to enhance the city's neighborhoods and boost tourism through street art.

In every trip, I always make time to walk around and look for street art.
I live in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and for a long time I’ve wanted to create a map-route of graffiti spots in different areas of my city. I’m glad I can do this through your app, as there are many artworks in Las Palmas that are not yet marked on the platform.
