"Farbfieber" is a non-profit association dedicated to mural painting and urban art based in Düsseldorf; it emerged in 1987 from the Düsseldorf Mural Group, which had been active since the late 1970s. Founded by artists such as Klaus Klinger, the association creates massive murals in public spaces that often address political and social issues. Its goal is to bring intercultural dialogue, international understanding, and civic participation directly to the streets, away from traditional museum settings.
