<div>Find the Crown Hotel and you will find this work by two local artists. The subject is the Chinese Grandfather of the Grandsons who own the hotel and tells the story of the early settlers who made Dunedin the great city it is today. No reason for the portrait being painted purple as it was just a colour that was in plentiful supply to the artists.&nbsp;</div>

<div>Aroha &amp; Guy have painted a Taniwai, a supernatural creature in Maori tradition that is similar to serpents or dragons in other cultures.&nbsp;<br>This is on the corner of Gordon and Factory Roads by the public restrooms.</div>

Reach for the Stars

<div>Multi talented local artists Guy &amp; Aroha have painted a 30m long site specific mural telling a story about the Otago Harbour which this mural sits by. You can walk to this piece over the pedestrian walkway on the over-bridge, the stairs leading up to it start on Vogel Street, you see this one as well as 3 others.</div>

<div>You can see this mural from South Road so its a short walk up Goodall St to view it. It tells the story about an unusual worm, the Peripatus (Velvet) worm that is 500 million years old and still&nbsp; lives in the area.</div>
