Kunstenaar Luca Aussems creëerde dit monumentaal fresco, dat ons doet belanden in een meervoudige realiteit die figuurlijk door de tijd heen gekneed is.

Het kunstwerk is compositorisch lineair opgedeeld in verschillende grotere onderdelen of gekleurde vlakken. Je kan inzoomen op details en uitzoomen op grotere fragmenten, net alsof je naar een film kijkt.

Je kan er poëtische associaties opdoen door de surreële beeldwerking. Een oude postkaart roept bijvoorbeeld herinneringen op aan verre reizen en acrobaten. Tijd en ruimte zijn ook onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden in heel het kosmische gebeuren: een jonge vrouw kijkt naar het heelal.

Het kunstwerk is gedeeltelijk geschilderd en gedeeltelijk verwezenlijkt op keramische tegels.

Artist Luca Aussems created this monumental fresco, which lands us in a multiple reality figuratively moulded by time.

The artwork is compositionally linearly divided into several larger parts or coloured areas. You can zoom in on details and zoom out on larger fragments, just like watching a film.

You can make poetic associations through the surreal imagery. An old postcard, for instance, evokes memories of faraway journeys and acrobats. Time and space are also inextricably linked throughout the cosmic scene: a young woman watches the universe.

The artwork is partly painted and partly realised on ceramic tiles.
