In 2023, Oldenzaalsestraat gained a special work of art. Literally from a different perspective. Created by Nina Paintina from Enschede. Her green painting not only adds color, but also meaning. The artwork fits seamlessly into the green surroundings of Enschede. A place where people and animals live together. If you look closely, you will also see a flax flower: a nod to the city's textile history. And then there is a playful twist. Opposite the artwork is Polaroid, and that link is no coincidence. The artwork was created as a ‘positive’ image. But as soon as you set your phone to negative, the artwork changes completely. Try it for yourself!

In 2023 kreeg de Oldenzaalsestraat er een bijzonder kunstwerk bij. Letterlijk vanuit een ander perspectief. Gemaakt door Nina Paintina uit Enschede. Haar groene schildering voegt niet alleen kleur toe, maar ook betekenis. Het kunstwerk sluit naadloos aan op de groene omgeving van Enschede. Een plek waar mens en dier samenleven. Kijk je goed, dan zie je ook een vlasbloem: een knipoog naar de textielgeschiedenis van de stad. En dan is er nog een speelse twist. Tegenover het kunstwerk zit Polaroid, en die link is niet toevallig. Het kunstwerk is gemaakt als een ‘positief’ beeld. Maar zodra je je telefoon op negatief zet, verandert het kunstwerk volledig. Probeer maar eens!
