Greetings from Bermuda is a monumental vintage-style postcard mural created in April 2019 by artist duo Greetings Tour (Victor Ving and Lisa Beggs), with assistance from artist Dominic Corry. Measuring 25 feet high by 35 feet wide, it represents the duo's 36th postcard mural and their first international installation outside North America.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Greetings Tour is a public art initiative founded in 2015 by former NYC graffiti artist Victor Ving and photographer Lisa Beggs. Traveling full-time across regions, they produce photorealistic, locally inspired interpretations of mid-century "large letter" travel postcards celebrating civic pride, heritage, and geography.

ABOUT THE PIECE:

The artwork is styled after mid-20th-century linen travel postcards, using a palette drawn directly from the pastel cottages and turquoise waters of Bermuda. Beneath the cursive banner "Greetings from", the oversized block letters of "BERMUDA" serve as individual windows into key island landmarks and symbols:

U: Historical stone forts at the Royal Naval Dockyard

A: A classic red British-style telephone booth, reflecting the island's British heritage The lettering rests above a coastal silhouette lined with native Bermuda palmetto palms.
