The 1st Street Art Festival of Ilioupoli was organized through a collaboration between the Cultural & Sports Organization of the Municipality of Ilioupoli "Grigoris Grigoriou" and Awesome Athens Experiences.

On October 17, 2021, the First Indoor Gym of Ilioupoli was transformed into a vibrant creative space filled with color, artistic expression, and energy. In a safe environment and in compliance with all COVID-19 protection measures, renowned street art and graffiti artists came together to explore the relationship between sport and urban art.

Inspired by themes of movement, speed, and dynamism, the artists created large-scale works that demonstrate how the spirit of athletic performance can influence and shape contemporary street art. The festival brought a unique cultural dimension to the city, turning a sports venue into a temporary urban art gallery.
