A glimpse of the sparkling night sky has been cast onto SA Water’s water pump house along the River Murray at Swan Reach, transforming the structure into a starry mural of Australia’s only dark sky reserve. The pump house, measuring five metres high and six metres wide, now displays artwork of the river glistening under the stars, along with bold images of the region’s iconic birds – including the Australian Pelican, Blue Wren, Mallee Ringneck and Laughing Kookaburra.
