Many different institutions and projects of KOLPING are gathered on the site in Cologne's city centre. The mural is intended to represent this diversity. The artwork shows a colourful Rubik's cube that represents our facilities such as the trainee accommodation and the hotels as well as the diverse activities of KOLPING. Central aspects of our mission statement such as education, sustainability, One World Family and transgenerationality are integrated at the various levels of the Rubik's Cube. Above all is the head of our association founder Adolph Kolping, whose life still shapes our activities today.

Auf dem Gelände in der Kölner Innenstadt sind viele unterschiedliche Einrichtungen und Projekte von KOLPING versammelt. Diese Vielfalt soll das Mural darstellen. Das Kunstwerk zeigt einen bunten Zauberwürfel, der unsere Einrichtungen wie das Azubi-Wohnen und die Hotels sowie die vielfältigen Aktivitäten von KOLPING repräsentiert. Zentrale Aspekte unseres Leitbildes wie Bildung, Nachhaltigkeit, Eine Weltfamilie und Transgenerationalität sind auf den verschiedenen Ebenen des Zauberwürfels integriert. Über allem thront der Kopf unseres Verbandsgründers Adolph Kolping, dessen Leben bis heute unsere Aktivitäten prägt.
