Reka One's contribution for Benalla Street Art Festival 2024. Finished and WIP photos. Super nice guy.
The story embedded in the wall is about community. The two hands suggest different ethnicities, but are intertwined by colour and shape. They speak of connection and welcome but can be interpreted in many ways. My first impression was of the orange and the green, but it could just as easily symbolise First Aussies and new Aussies or... Reka also painted a small wall across the road from this huge one, on the side wall of Hides Bakery.
