The Whitecross Street Party (WXSP) uses street art and performance to bring people together. Every July, we take over for one weekend, in celebration of this radical community, at one of London’s most distinctive locations. 

Our vision is a Whitecross Street where everyone feels connected: all are welcome at WXSP. Twenty-five of the greatest street artists paint live, with scissor lifts a few stories high. Performance from local artists bring music and words alive on multiple stages. Stalls with artisan crafts and food keep you going with treats to eat and wear. Our local partners bring all sorts of activities to get involved with, and we couldn’t do it without them.
WXSP is organised by YMCA London City and North on behalf of Islington Council.
