Back to Life (two-sided)

Description

Completed: October 2022

This mural was inspired by the pipe that runs down the abutment. Featuring hand, flower, and butterfly imagery that is multifaceted and aimed at drawing from people a sense of hope, Colin’s Artist Statement noted her work is influenced by the idea of what happens when our dependence on an item that provides water becomes compromised and wanting to convey a story about her belief in the power of the universe to provide. I love art and I love to travel. When I go to a new place my dog, Sparky, we go for lots of walks, exploring whatever city we are in. I love to take that time to hunt for street art. It's makes it fun for both of us (unless he's actually thinking I'm really annoying for stopping so much!!)
