Este mural es muy importante para mí , pertenece a una serie de murales que empecé en México justo después del fallecimiento de mi padre y son homenajes a él. Mi padre tuvo como mascota un león y yo he realizado una serie de niños con animales de poder, algunos de ellos fantástico como es el caso de este mural que reflejan un alebrije, guiadores del alma . Se observa que el protagonista permanece con los ojos cerrados y sin embargo el animal poseo un ojo verde intenso. Con ello hago referencia a mirar y ver la vida y lo que venga,a través de alma

This mural is very important to me. It belongs to a series of murals that I started in Mexico right after my father passed away, and they are tributes to him. My father had a lion as a pet, and I have created a series of children with power animals, some of them fantastical, as in the case of this mural, which depicts an alebrije, a guide for the soul. You can see that the protagonist’s eyes are closed, yet the animal has an intense green eye. With this, I am referring to looking and seeing life and whatever comes, through the soul.
