A legendary mural rises in La Guillotière!

Here’s “The Machecroute and La Guillotière – In Search of the Centaury of Lyon”, a 500 m² mural by HetaOne (Sylvain Chaix), painted in March 2025.

🎯 What’s in it?

• 🔸 An Asian-style dragon that snakes across two walls

• 🔸 Fish from the Rhône River (perch & carp)

• 🔸 The rare Lyon centaury, a native flower now endangered

• 🔸 Books taking flight, because knowledge moves

• 🔸 Urban graffiti-style calligraphy for a bold, modern twist

💥 Highlight: a giant anamorphic circle, only visible from the café terrace opposite the building 👀

This work reimagines an old local myth in a colorful, dynamic, and urban way.
