Peter Stöcker and the team from "Lucky Walls", together with female students from the Wilhelm-Wagenfeld-School in Bremen-Huchting, have created this powerful Urban Art piece - 'Hemera'. Designed as a symbol of inner strength and empowerment, it is aimed particularly at girls and women in the neighbourhood. On a 130 square metre facade of a GEWOBA building, the work shows a modern interpretation of the Greek figure Hemera, known in mythology as the personification of day.

In the midst of wild clouds, Hemera holds a luminous sphere of energy that brings light and clarity to her surroundings. This image is intended to be a symbol of identification, courage and self-confidence. The powerful mural not only brings a strong visual presence to the neighbourhood, but also a positive message to the residents.

The artwork was supported by various local institutions, including the Hermannsburg School Association and GEWOBA. It is a successful example of how urban art can contribute to the enhancement of neighbourhoods while communicating social messages.

Peter Stöcker und das Team von “Lucky Walls” haben gemeinsam mit Schülerinnen der Wilhelm-Wagenfeld-Schule das kraftvolle Urban Art Kunstwerk - 'Hemera' in Bremen-Huchting realisiert. Als Symbol für innere Stärke und Selbstbewusstsein gedacht, richtet es sich insbesondere an die Mädchen und Frauen des Stadtteils. Auf einer 130 Quadratmeter großen Hausfassade der GEWOBA zeigt das Werk eine moderne Interpretation der griechischen Figur Hemera, die in der Mythologie als Personifikation des Tages bekannt ist.  

Inmitten wilder Wolken hält Hemera eine leuchtende Energiekugel in ihren Händen, die Licht und Klarheit in ihre Umgebung bringt. Diese Darstellung soll ein Identifikationssymbol schaffen und Mut und Selbstvertrauen vermitteln. Das kraftvolle Wandbild bringt nicht nur eine starke visuelle Präsenz in den Stadtteil, sondern auch eine positive Botschaft für die Bewohnerinnen. 

Das Kunstwerk wurde von verschiedenen lokalen Institutionen wie dem Schulverein Hermannsburg und der GEWOBA unterstützt. Es ist ein gelungenes Beispiel dafür, wie Urban Art zur Aufwertung von Stadtteilen beitragen und gleichzeitig soziale Botschaften vermitteln kann.
