The urban artist Alejandro Pajuelo, known as 'Chino', has made a new large-scale graffiti in the city of Badajoz, this time dedicated to the elderly and which opens next week at the Santa Marina Senior Center.

The mural is, according to the author, the largest portrait he has done to date and represents a well-known couple from the Santa Marina Senior Center, crossed by the word 'Youth'. With this graffiti, 'Chino' tries to reflect that all the older ones can always teach the younger ones.

The presentation and inauguration of the mural is scheduled for Tuesday, the 11th, at 10:00 a.m. at the headquarters of the Santa Marina Senior Center, where they want to take a great photograph with all the seniors of said center and also those of the city.

With this work, the Department of Social Services of the Badajoz City Council and the Cultural Area of ​​El Corte Inglés want to record, on the very façade of this center in the Santa Marina neighborhood, the recognition of all the elderly people who have left the legacy of his "many" years of work.

The renowned urban artist Alejandro Pajuelo 'Chino', has, in collaboration with El Corte Inglés, a large number of works in the city, the last of which was carried out at the Faculty of Communication and Documentation of the University of Extremadura, as recalled by Ámbito Cultural of Badajoz in a press release.

El artista urbano Alejandro Pajuelo, conocido como 'Chino', ha realizado un nuevo grafiti de grandes dimensiones en la ciudad de Badajoz, en esta ocasión dedicado a los mayores y que se inaugura la próxima semana en el Centro de Mayores de Santa Marina.

El mural es, según el autor, el retrato de mayores dimensiones realizado por él hasta ahora y representa a un matrimonio muy conocido del Centro de Mayores de Santa Marina, cruzados por la palabra 'Juventud'. Con este grafiti, 'Chino' pretende reflejar que todos los mayores siempre pueden enseñar a los más jóvenes.

La presentación e inauguración del mural está prevista para el martes, día 11, a las 10,00 en la sede del Centro de Mayores de Santa Marina, donde se quiere realizar una gran fotografía con todos los mayores de dicho centro y también los de la ciudad.

Con esta obra, la Concejalía de Servicios Sociales del Ayuntamiento de Badajoz y Ámbito Cultural de El Corte Inglés quieren dejar constancia, en la propia fachada de este centro de la barriada de Santa Marina, del reconocimiento a todas las personas mayores que han dejado el legado de sus "muchos" años de trabajo.
