The Chorus cabinet art initiative began in 2010 with a test pilot in Auckland to try to reduce the amount of vandalism to telecommunications cabinets. It proved so successful it was extended throughout the country and now aims complete on average 170 murals each year. Chorus have over 11,000 telecommunications cabinets across New Zealand.
Shane Walker, who has already brought us many fantastic murals, has added to his portfolio with this beauty in Tauranga.
Entitled 'Hustle and Bustle', he describes it as: "Mauao, local produce, import and export of goods, tourism, beach culture, fishing ... to name a few.
"Tauranga’s bustling environment is made up of mixed identities and makes it a unique and appealing destination for all."
