Street Art Cities

The Reeshof, Tilburg's largest neighbourhood, has over 12,000 young people, but lacks socio-cultural facilities. Instead, there is a lot of talent and creativity among young people.

One of these talents is Gabriële (?). In her exam year (2024), Gabriële made this beautiful work to refurbish a small wall on the grounds of Beatrix College, as part of a design competition in cooperation with Beatrix Maatschappelijk Ondernemen (BMO), subject teacher Bjorn Bongaards, the culture coach and TilburgSchoon. In doing so, she left something beautiful behind for the school and the neighbourhood.

De Reeshof, de grootste wijk van Tilburg, telt meer dan 12.000 jongeren, maar mist sociaal-culturele voorzieningen. In plaats daarvan is er veel talent en creativiteit onder jongeren.

Een van deze talenten is Gabriële (?). In haar examenjaar (2024) maakte Gabriële dit prachtige werk om een muurtje op het terrein van het Beatrix College op te knappen, als onderdeel van een ontwerpwedstrijd in samenwerking met Beatrix Maatschappelijk Ondernemen (BMO), vakdocent Bjorn Bongaards, de cultuurcoach en TilburgSchoon. Daarmee liet ze iets moois achter voor de school en de buurt.
