"Quién descubrió a quién?”
Este mural nace del encuentro, de la mezcla y de la memoria compartida del Caribe. Lo creamos junto a mis hermanos Willy Gómez y Angurria en el Festival Color Caribe en Puerto Rico, y cada trazo habla de nuestras islas, de nuestros orígenes y de esos viajes que nos conectan desde tiempos ancestrales.
Aquí recordamos a los taínos que cruzaban el mar guiados por estrellas, y también a quienes hoy siguen navegando en busca de esperanza. En el Caribe, la migración no es una excepción: es un pulso antiguo, natural y profundamente humano. Todos venimos de un viaje. Todos somos migrantes de alguna historia.
Este mural celebra la belleza de ser caribeños, de ser dominicanos y puertorriqueños, pero sobre todo de ser parte de un mismo mar que nos une más de lo que nos separa.

“Who Discovered Whom?” This mural was born from the encounter, the blending, and the shared memory of the Caribbean. My brothers Willy Gómez and Angurria and I created it at the Color Caribe Festival in Puerto Rico, and each stroke speaks of our islands, our origins, and those journeys that have connected us since ancient times. Here we remember the Taíno people who crossed the sea guided by the stars, and also those who continue to sail today in search of hope. In the Caribbean, migration is not an exception: it is an ancient, natural, and profoundly human pulse. We all come from a journey. We are all migrants of some story. This mural celebrates the beauty of being Caribbean, of being Dominican and Puerto Rican, but above all, of being part of the same sea that unites us more than it separates us.
