Thiago Mazza, born in 1984, was born in Belo Horizonte in Brazil, where he graduated in Graphic Design at the State University of Minas Gerais. Self-taught in painting, he first had contact with graffiti writing and subsequently began painting walls. Thiago is one of the exponents of contemporary Brazilian muralism and has participated in some of the most important urban art festivals such as Nuart Aberdeen (United Kingdom), Artscape (Sweden), MURO (Portugal), CVTA Fest (Italy), Vukovart (Croatia) , IPAF (Mexico), Tbilisi Festival (Georgia) and CURA (Brazil).

His work dialogues with classical painting, street art and contemporary art. He is known in the panorama of contemporary urban art for his mastery in the representation of flora, especially tropical ones. His current painting project involves collecting local plants and then painting them later. Thiago Mazza brings nature within himself, the ingenuity to transmute it and the art of bringing us to it.

September 24, 2023 Thiago dedicated himself to the redevelopment of a building inspired by botany and the history of the neighborhood. The structure chosen was originally a coffee warehouse, active until the mid-1970s (called Moka Ras), now abandoned and partly transformed into a restaurant run by two young boys. The artist completely decorated the street corner with depictions of tropical plants and flowers in memory of the former coffee roastery.
