The mural shows three monumental female portraits rendered in a highly realistic, predominantly monochrome style. The women appear in different poses and with distinct hairstyles and facial features, creating a sense of individuality and diversity. Their faces and hands are modelled with strong contrasts of black, white and grey, while the wall behind them is structured by geometric blocks and lines in blue and pink. Small touches of warm colour punctuate the otherwise restrained palette.

The lower part of the wall is integrated into the surrounding graffiti, creating a striking contrast between the carefully executed figurative portraits above and the much more spontaneous black-and-white graffiti below. The combination of photorealistic portraiture, spray-paint aesthetics and graffiti lettering is characteristic of the Parisian street-art environment.

Paola Delfín is a Mexican artist who is known for creating monumental black-and-white portraits. She has worked closely with the Aubervilliers-based Collectif Art.
