Une nouvelle fresque a été inaugurée non loin de l’administration communale. “Elle a été créée par l’artiste hollandais de renommée internationale Leon Keer qui est spécialisé dans le streetart en 3D anamorphique”, explique Laurent Canizzaro, directeur de Centrissime. “Il s’agit d’un artiste très demandé qui peut se permettre de choisir ses projets tellement il est sollicité. Ce qu’on essaye de faire, dans les œuvres de streetart, c’est qu’il y ait un lien avec l’histoire de la ville. Dans ce cadre, cette fresque de Leon Keer représente l’histoire de l’usine Boch au travers des différents motifs représentatifs de la marque au fil du temps et ce sur neuf panneaux de quatre mètres de haut et cinq de large. Elle aura la particularité, d’ici quelques semaines, d’être en réalité augmentée, ce qui serait une première en Belgique pour une œuvre de streetart à notre connaissance. Il faudra télécharger l’application de l’artiste pour voir son travail s’animer.”
9 panneaux muraux sur lesquels j'ai peint 9 éclats de céramique différents. Toutes ces céramiques étaient fabriquées à La Louvière à l'époque. Ensemble, les éclats forment un seul objet. La peinture murale se trouve à côté du musée Keramis @keramis où vous pourrez assister à l'histoire de la poterie boch et aux nombreux exemples de céramiques produites.

 9 mural panels on which I painted 9 different ceramic shards. All this ceramic was made in La Louviere at the time. Together the shards form one object. The mural can be found next to Museum Keramis @keramis where you can witness the history of the boch pottery and the many examples of the ceramics produced.
