Gjegjëm, che in Arbëreshë vuol dire “ascoltami”, è un omaggio alla tradizione linguistica e culturale di questi luoghi (Piana degli Albanesi).

È un invito alla ricerca e allo studio di un popolo che, grazie ad un forte senso di comunità, tramanda e custodisce ormai da moltissime generazioni una lingua affascinante e profonda riuscendo a proteggerla dalle variazioni del tempo.

Gjegjëm, which in Arbëreshë means “listen to me”, is a tribute to the linguistic and cultural tradition of these places (Piana degli Albanesi).

It is an invitation to research and study a people who, thanks to a strong sense of community, have handed down and preserved a fascinating and profound language for many generations, managing to protect it from the changes of time.
