Bäshke Urban Art is an annual street art event held in Piana degli Albanesi, a town in Sicily known for its unique Arbëreshë culture—the Albanian-Italian community that has preserved its traditions for centuries. Organized by the Bashkë association in collaboration with the local municipality, this urban art initiative transforms the Sheshi neighborhood into an open-air museum. The event celebrates both local and international artists, bringing together a blend of street art, performances, and cultural exhibits. The primary focus is on highlighting the Arbëreshë heritage through murals, creative workshops, and community-based performances.
Started in 2023 with Andrea Buglisi as artistic director.
