QUIJOTE EN EL SIGLO XXI (21ST CENTURY DON QUIJOTE)

Inaugurated in January 2016, Quijote en el Siglo xxi commemorates the 400th anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes. Painted by the malagueno artist, Curro Leyton, this mural measures 264 square metres and features a 16m high figure which is his modern interpretation of Don Quijote, one of the most famous characters from Spanish literature. It is located on a wall of the Puerta del Mar Institute on Calle Eslovaquia. Leyton created his updated vision of Quijote in collaboration with some of the students of the institute.

Inaugurado en enero de 2016, Quijote en el Siglo xxi conmemora el 400 aniversario de la muerte de Miguel de Cervantes. Pintado por el artista malagueño Curro Leyton, este mural mide 264 metros cuadrados y presenta una figura de 16 m de altura que es su interpretación moderna de Don Quijote, uno de los personajes más famosos de la literatura española. Está situado en un muro del Instituto Puerta del Mar en la calle Eslovaquia. Leyton creó su visión actualizada del Quijote en colaboración con algunos de los estudiantes del instituto.
