The mural is inspired by the painting Las Lanzas, aka La rendición de Breda (the surrender of Breda), by Diego Velázquez. The painting from 1634 illustrates the victory of Spain in which Governor Justinus hands over the key of the city to Spinola.

Five Spanish and five Dutch street artists made a 110 meters long mural on the wall of the former CSM factory. In the middle of the mural you’ll see a contemporary version of the key. A sign of a friendly battle with paint.

- Blind Walls Gallery | 2012 -
