This work explores the deep love and bond that connect a mother and child from the earliest moments in the womb and beyond, throughout the child’s life, regardless of whether they are a son or daughter.

The love I have for my mother, mirrored by the love she has given me, inspired this new piece of art, crafted in the shape of the human heart. I sought to capture the powerful, instinctive connection between mother and child that science tells us exists—even what a mother feels and consumes impacts her child. This connection is symbolized in the artwork by her hair, merging into the heart that holds the child.

I dedicate this piece to my mother, hoping that every mother and child who sees it can feel the depth of the love shared.
