L’opera è un vero omaggio al territorio di Piana degli Albanesi, ai suoi colori e alle sue tradizioni.
Protagonista è una figura femminile in abito tradizionale caratterizzato dal lungo copricapo nero (abito che rappresenta l’identità culturale di questo territorio), che cammina nelle strade del centro storico assorta tra i pensieri.
Alle sue spalle sono presenti tessuti e colori che richiamano l’abito stesso come il rosso della gonna, l’azzurro e il tipico ricamo oro.

The work is a true tribute to the territory of Piana degli Albanesi, its colors and its traditions.

The protagonist is a female figure in traditional dress characterized by the long black headdress (a dress that represents the cultural identity of this territory), who walks through the streets of the historic center absorbed in thoughts.

Behind her are fabrics and colors that recall the dress itself such as the red of the skirt, the blue and the typical gold embroidery.
