Right to a Home and Family

Part of the "Straße der Kinderrechte" (Street of Children's Rights) project in Dortmund-Westerfilde, initiated in 2017 by the local youth center Falkentreff in cooperation with the district management and the urban design initiative "Die Urbanisten" (Oliver Mark, David Kory). Local children and youth groups illustrated various children's rights in workshops, which artist Oliver Mark collaged into final artwork for the utility boxes.

This utility box depicts a tall orange apartment house with red roof under a blue sky, featuring happy children looking out of the upper windows. The artwork illustrates children's right to a safe home, housing, and family life.
