Symbolizing transhumance and evoking the fertility ritual, the mask personifying the cow and bull of Tricarico parades through the streets of the town with traditional dances on January 17th at dawn, marking the celebration of Saint Anthony Abbot and also during the carnival period. Like every anthropological mask, it's not just about dances or costumes; it's about roots, culture, and belonging to something much older, written among the stars.
