Street Art Cities

Growing up in a low income household in the projects of East Los Angeles with few opportunities, street artist Repoe9 began his career as a DJ. In 2005, this path brought him to Western, MA where he picked his first can of spray paint. Since then, he has dedicated himself to honing his craft as a graffiti writer. For Repoe9, aerosol art is a therapeutic way to connect with others, especially youth. He has worked with Nueva Esperanza Inc, Enlace de Familias Inc, New North Citizens Council Youth Center, Fresh Paint of Springfield (Common Wealth Murals). 

Writer and artist, Teck 3% was raised between Springfield, MA and Holyoke, MA. As an artist, Teck focuses on creating an authentic and original style the represents the realness of the streets. You can find his art on various storefronts and buildings across Holyoke. According to Teck, every city has its hardships, but he believes that, through his craft, he can help bring some color to the neglected areas of a community.
