Winds of the Paraná

'Winds of the Parana is present the first mural in Rosario by Martin, located in a place as iconic as it is challenging: the Davis Silos, on the banks of the Paraná River.

This work represented an enormous technical and artistic challenge, and I am convinced that it will be remembered as one of the most significant murals of my career. In a city that breathes art and culture, leaving my mark here is an honor.

In the mural we see the figure of a woman who could be a contemporary representation of the motherland, wrapped in a flag and caressed by the Paraná breeze. In dialogue with the sculpture “The flagged country” by Alfredo Bigatti, located in the Flag Monument, this work symbolizes resurgence and resilience. Standing with muddy feet on the banks of the river, she embraces our history with determination and subtlety, ready to face the future.
